Hurricane Gabrielle is still a 'major' hurricane (Category 3), tracking from west-to-east across the subtropicval Atlantic. While Gabrielle is expected to weaken over the coming days, the NHC forecast has Gabrielle reaching the Azores late Thursday or Friday as a hurricane.
Invest 93L is likely to become a TD (#8) or TS (Humberto) in the next day or two, with the latest forecasts calling for the system to reach hurricane intensity by the weekend. Forecast ensembles keep the system off the U.S. East Coast, but Bermuda needs to closely monitor this system.
Invest 94L may take several days to develop, but the outlook calls for 94L to ultimately become TS Imelda. This sytem is headed for the Bahamas. After that, the picture gets fairly muddy.
The Euro ensemble (ECENS) suggests a possible threat by 94L/Imelda to the U.S. Eastern Seaboard. The GEFS ensemble runs suggest that 94L/Imelda likely remains over the open water of the western Atlantic and could interact with 93L/Humberto. Then there is Google's Deep Mind AI forecast (GDM), with ensemble runs that suggest a threat to the Southeast U.S. Coast yet also potentially interact with 94L/Humberto.
