Some Much-Needed Rain This Week?

A low-end storm threat exists mainly for the northern portions of the state over the next several days.  Widespread severe storms are unlikely but occasional storms could be strong enough to prompt local Warnings.

This does not mean an end to the on-going drought, but 2" to 3" of rain spread over a string of days will certainly be of considerable help and should take a 'bite' out of the critical dryness impacting most of the state.
