2026 American Farm Bureau Convention Begins  

ANAHEIM, Ca. – The 2026 American Farm Bureau Convention is officially underway. The convention is being held through Jan. 14 in Anaheim, California, with a full slate of inspiring speakers, educational workshops and cutting-edge trade show displays.

 

AFBF President Zippy Duvall will give his annual address to Farm Bureau members during the opening general session of the convention at 9:30 a.m. Pacific Time on Sunday, Jan. 11. President Duvall’s remarks will be livestreamed on the homepage of AFBF’s website.

 

Later that afternoon, at 1:30 p.m. Pacific Time, President Duvall will host the opening news conference, which will also be livestreamed, so media who are not attending convention may tune in. Click here to access the livestream.

 

During the afternoon general session on Sunday, the chair of the U.S. Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry, Sen. John Boozman (R-Ark.), and Ranking Member Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.) will be joined by the chair of the U.S. House Committee on Agriculture, Rep. Glenn "GT" Thompson (R-Pa.), and Ranking Member Rep. Angie Craig (D-Minn.) on a panel to discuss their vision for the future of U.S. agriculture and their plans for 2026.

 

To close out general session programming, two-time national champion, Heisman Trophy winner, College Football Hall of Fame inductee, and five-time New York Times best-selling author Tim Tebow will address attendees. Also during the closing general session, U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins will speak about the challenges and opportunities ahead for American agriculture. The closing general session begins at 11:30 a.m. Pacific Time on Monday, Jan. 12.

 

Fifteen workshops will be offered in four tracks – public policy, rural development, member engagement and consumer engagement. Highlights include a conversation with USDA Deputy Secretary Stephen Vaden, the latest information on the Make America Healthy Again movement, an economic outlook for agriculture in 2026, strategies to help new and beginning farmers thrive, and much more.

 

Throughout convention, the Cultivation Center Stage will feature an engaging slate of content, including interactive sessions presented by some of agriculture’s top social media influencers, as well as the Ag Innovation Challenge final four live pitch competition.

 

The winners of the Ag Innovation Challenge, Foundation Book of the Year and Farm Dog of the Year will all be announced during convention general sessions, along with numerous state Farm Bureau awards. All three general sessions will be livestreamed on the homepage of Farm Bureau’s website.

 

Registered media may also attend the AFBF Annual Meeting of Voting Delegates in-person on Tuesday, Jan. 13.
