Louisiana Soybean and Grain Research and Promotion Board Meeting Notice

A meeting of the Louisiana Soybean and Grain Research and Promotion Board has been scheduled as follows:

The main purpose of this meeting will be to review the accomplishments of each research project conducted during 2025 and look forward to project proposals for 2026.  The LSU Presentations will be held on their campus at Efferson Hall beginning at 8:00 am Wednesday, November 19th, and the following day on the 20th. The meeting will conclude Friday, November 21 at LA Farm Bureau Headquarters.  After the reviews and presentations are concluded, we will need to conduct a business meeting. Agenda items for the business meeting will include a collections report, a report on fund balances, a report on preliminary assessment (income) projections, and a decision of funding priorities and projects to set the 2025 budget.

Lunch will be provided Wednesday and Thursday for both the board and researchers presenting. Friday lunch will only be provided for the board, as we anticipate a working lunch.
