Deadline Approaching For '25 Rice Technical Working Group Meeting

The deadline for registering for the 2025 RTWG and for securing a hotel room at the conference hotel is quickly approaching.  The deadline to register without incurring a late fee and to reserve a hotel room at the conference hotel is January 17, 2025.  However, ii is important to point out that hotel rooms at the conference rate are on a first-come, first-served basis. To ensure you are able to secure your room, you are encouraged to make your reservation as soon as possible.

The 40th edition of the RTWG meeting is scheduled to take place from February 17 to 20, 2025, at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside Hotel. The LSU AgCenter and the H. Rouse Caffey Rice Research Station will be hosting the event.  Alongside oral presentations and posters showcasing scientist research, the meeting will offer an education workshop focused on current issues facing rice production that will be targeted to consultants and rice industry service personnel.  In addition, symposia are planned focused on invasive pests and consumer demand implications of climate smart production practices.  We think the 2025 RTWG offers something for everyone interested in rice and the rice industry.
