Soil Fertility & Nutrient Management Field Day July 27

The Scott Research, Extension & Education Center in Winnsboro will host a soil fertility and nutrient management field day Thusday, July 27, from 8 AM until 1 PM.

Field tours will include crop updates for corn, soybeans, cotton and grain sorghum, disease and insect up dates for corn, soybeans and cotton, sulfur fertilizer rate and source trials for soybeans and cotton, phosphorus and potassium fertility trials for corn and soybeans, dry versus liquid phosphorus and potassium fertilizer trials, phosphorus and potassium interaction and application timing, foliar, biofertilizer, biochar and liming trials for corn and soybeans.

Three hours of CCA credit will be available and a sponsored lunch is scheduled for noon.
