LSU AgCenter Researchers Take Center Stage At January Conference

BATON ROUGE, La. — Celebrating nearly three decades as an academic partner, the LSU AgCenter will present some of its top researchers as featured speakers in a group of conferences in late January.

The 27th annual National Conservation Systems Cotton and Rice Conference, Southern Soybean and Corn Conference, Delta States Irrigation Conference and Southern Precision Ag Conference will take place Jan. 30 and 31 at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Red Wolf Convention Center in Jonesboro, Ark.

The latest agriculture production research will be released at the group conference sponsored by Cotton Incorporated and the U.S. Rice Producers Association.

AgCenter scientists on the program include:

— Agricultural irrigation specialist Stacia Conger.

— Rice expert Ronnie Levy.

— Soil fertility specialist Rasel Parvej.

— Weed scientist Connor Webster.
