Here's When Customers Should Reduce Electricity Usage to Avoid Blackouts, According to Entergy

Entergy’s Louisiana asked customers to voluntarily reduce electricity usage, especially between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. Monday evening, in an effort to avoid the kind of rolling blackouts that have left millions without power in Texas.

The request comes as temperatures in south Louisiana are forecast to dip to the low 20s Fahrenheit on Monday night as the winter storm continues to pass through the region.
