Louisiana Soybean Farmers Still Hurting From US-China Trade Dispute

Despite a temporary truce in the ongoing U.S.-China trade war, Louisiana soybean farmers are still feeling the effects of the six-month dispute between the two countries. “China started buying some beans again in December, but they’re still not all-in,” says Raymond Schexnayder, a West Baton Rouge Parish soybean farmer. “It’s still slow. We haven’t caught up to where we used to be.”
