Heavy Rains Slow Louisiana Field Work

Louisiana farmers have been ahead of schedule with spring planting and field work, but last week's heavy rains caused many farmers to take a break last week while fields drained and dried out from double-digit rainfall in some areas, according to the latest Louisiana Crop Progress and Condition Report.
