Rice imports are on the rise and U.S. stakeholders are leery about the potential consequences to national markets. Leaders from Riceland Foods and Producers Rice Mill met with U.S. Rep. Rick Crawford, R-Jonesboro, recently to discuss growing concerns over rising rice imports, international trade policy, and federal actions needed to protect the competitiveness of U.S. rice farmers.
