After layoffs and budget cuts, the University of Louisiana at Lafayette is weighing selling off some of its property to extinguish what remains of a $50 million budget shortfall.
The properties in the mix include the ULL Ecology Center and accompanying land, valued at roughly $2 million, and Cade Farm, 600 acres of research land, much of it man-made wetlands between Cade and St. Martinville.
