Sitting at sea level south of Baton Rouge there’s a rare sight to see – it’s a mountain on the Mississippi. The pile of gypsum is a potential problem for fertilizer manufacturers. It’s costly to store and builds up quickly, but Louisiana’s newly passed Senate Bill 32 could provide a mutually beneficial solution.
