Louisiana’s Soybean Exports to China Fall, Losing $1.85 Billion

BATON ROUGE, La. — A new analysis shows Louisiana farmers were among the hardest hit in the country as U.S. agricultural exports to China sharply declined in 2025.

The report from Farm Flavor looked at data from the U.S. Department of Agriculture and explained why the White House announced a $12 billion bailout for American farmers this week.
