Louisiana agriculture is facing a difficult chapter and evolving challenges, but there is reason for hope, thanks in part to the work of the Louisiana Farm Bureau Federation.
Throughout 2025, growers across the state – particularly feed grain and rice farmers – have faced softening demand, high overhead costs and impacts from new invasive pests. In addition, burdensome regulations and uncertainty on the federal level have left many unsure about what comes next.
