Louisiana Participates in USDA-Funded Summer Grocery Program for Students of Low-Income Families

For the first summer, Louisiana is participating in SUN Bucks – a United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) funded program that provides $120 in grocery buying benefits for each eligible school-aged child (5 to 18 years old) of low-income families. These funds will assist families in the summer months when children are not receiving breakfast and lunch at school.
