Recent Rainfall Provides Drought Relief in Parts of Arkansas, Louisiana & Texas

The National Weather Service in Shreveport reports that widespread rainfall of 1.50 to 3.00 inch totals fell from November 8-10 across extreme East Texas, portions of Southwest Arkansas, and much of North Louisiana. Even higher amounts of rainfall measuring 3-7+ inches have been observed across portions of Deep East TX and all of Central LA.
