Louisiana Timber Industry Sees Financial Impact From Drought, Wildfires

The timber industry in Louisiana suffered major losses as a result of weeks-long wildfires and ongoing drought. Most of the damage comes from Vernon Parish and surrounding areas, where timber normally thrives.
