The Provisia® Rice System was released by BASF in mid-2018. The Provisia® system features a non-GMO herbicide-tolerant rice which allows growers to safely apply Provisia® herbicide and, when used in rotation with a Clearfield® production system, growers have the flexibility of planting a rice-rice-soybean rotation with the option of being able to plant a fourth year of conventional rice.
