Regenerative Agriculture Farm Tour with Dr. Allen Williams

The regenerative agriculture tour of Bois d'Arc Farm in Uniontown, Alabama has been rescheduled to December 3rd and space is still available. This educational workshop led by Dr. Allen Williams will teach you how to cut input costs while growing nutrient-dense meat, produce and eggs. Registration is required and limited to 50 participants. The fee participation is $10.00. Round trip transportation will be provided from Monroe, LA to Uniontown, AL by bus.

Dr. Allen Williams is a 6th generation farmer and founding partner of Grass Fed Insights, LLC, Understanding Ag, LLC and the Soil Health Academy. He is the co-author of the book “Before You Have a Cow”, which has received great reviews. Dr. Williams has consulted with over 4000 farmers and ranchers in multiple countries on operations ranging from a few acres to over 1 million. He is a “recovering academic”, having served 15 years on the faculty at Louisiana Tech University and Mississippi State University. He holds a B.S. and M.S. in Animal Science from Clemson University and a Ph.D. in Livestock Genetics from LSU. He has authored more than 400 scientific and popular press articles and is an invited speaker at regional, national and international conferences and symposia.

BDA farm is a 6,000-acre certified organic farm implementing regenerative agriculture practices. Livestock operations include cow/calf, grass finishing, pastured pig production, pastured egg production and pastured lamb production. The workshop will include demonstrations of how to effectively implement these principles and practice on any farm. A farm to table lunch will be provided.
