AFBF Official Health & Safety Statement for Convention

Atlanta, Georgia – Guidelines, Executive Orders and Announcements
The Convention team is closely monitoring updates to Covid guidance and restrictions from the CDC, State of Georgia and City of Atlanta and will notify staff and attendees via the Convention App, Website, and email as appropriate. On Dec. 21, 2021, the City of Atlanta re-instated an indoor mask mandate, which may be enforced against individuals in certain circumstances. It is advisable to wear a mask indoors and always carry a mask while in Atlanta. The local mask order is available here.

At this time, there are no capacity restrictions or other orders that would preclude any planned Convention activities. We encourage those who are vaccinated to bring either a photo of their vaccination card or the actual card in case needed during your time in Atlanta.

  • Masks are strongly encouraged at indoor gatherings. Please observe the national order requiring masks on public transportation (taxis, Ubers, MARTA, etc.), including hotel shuttles, as well as the City of Atlanta order mandating masks indoors with certain exceptions.

  • Disposable masks will be available for attendees.

  • Distancing is encouraged. Extra room capacity will be provided to allow attendees more space when possible.

  • Please practice good hygiene with frequent hand washing/sanitizing, and always cover coughs.

  • If you develop symptoms of COVID-19, please leave the convention center, and seek medical assistance if needed.

If You Feel Sick…
