Pesticide Pick-up Day Set for Nov. 2

The Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry is hosting a pesticide pick-up day on Tuesday, Nov. 2, at Simplot Grower Solutions, 1110 W. Mill St. Extension in Crowley from 7 a.m. until 1 p.m.

All unwanted pesticides will be collected for disposal at no cost to producers, applicators, or homeowners. All pesticides will be accepted.

Containers will be furnished for transport to the collection site if old containers are not in good condition.

Inventory sheets should be filled out and dropped off at the LSU AgCenter office at 157 Cherokee Drive in Crowley, or emailed to Kim Brown at kbrown@agcenter.lsu.edu(link sends e-mail).
