2021 Rice Awards Nominations Now Being Accepted

Nominations are being accepted for the 2021 Rice Awards, sponsored each year by USA Rice, Horizon Ag and Rice Farming Magazine.

“Once again this year, we’ll have three categories,” according to Rice Farming Magazine Editor Vicky Boyd.

“Rice Farmer of the Year, for a farmer who has shown strong industry leadership; Rice Industry Award for a non-farmer who has also shown strong industry leadership, such as the Louisiana Farm Bureau’s Kyle McCann who received the award last year and Rice Lifetime Achievement Award for someone who has spent his or her life bettering the rice industry.”

The deadline is June 30th and winners will be featured in a special tribute in the December issue of Rice Farming Magazine. They’ll receive their award during the Awards Luncheon at the 2021 USA Rice Outlook Conference December 5-7 in New Orleans.
