More Than Fun, a Day at the Louisiana State Fair Creates Memories

As Peyton Igo judged a rooster, Matti Vinson was winning a blue ribbon with her steer at the livestock show. It was the start of a typical day during the 115th State Fair of Louisiana.

By afternoon the smell of smoking turkey legs filled the air and the freshly made funnel cakes were being coated with powdered sugar. Ms. Stevana's Friesian Horse Show was performing and the Hollywood Racing Pigs were on the run.
