From New York to California, spanning from North Dakota to Texas, agricultural producers say farm financial stress is mounting.
“I would say it's got to be 75% to 80% or more stressed than a year ago,” say Tim Homan, Rabo AgriFinance.
Homan is based in northeast Iowa but says the stress spreads beyond his footprint. While relief from USDA is helping, he says those financial concerns are growing, even with CFAP and other aid given this year.
