Online Training Offered By LSU AgCenter For First Time Pesticide Applicators

This training is for individuals who wish to prepare to take the general standards or private pesticide applicator exam. This training will be done live, in an online format through Microsoft TEAMS.

This training event has been developed to assist you in better understanding general pesticide safety and to help prepare you for the exam which you must pass in order to become certified. This training covers materials from the National Pesticide Applicator Certification Core Manual. Exams can be scheduled and taken through LDAF. You may contact LDAF to set up a time for testing, once you are ready.

People who wish to participate must pre-register at the LSU AgCenter’s online store by 4:00PM the business day before your selected event. Once you have registered, you will be provided a link via email that you must use to connect with the training event on both days of your selected event. This is training will be in two parts to help ease the amount of time in front of a computer.

The training will take a total of approximately 4 hours to complete.
