Entergy Restores Power to 15,000 More in Ouachita and Surrounding Areas, More NELA Parishes near Full Power

On Monday, Aug. 31, Entergy released an updated progress report on power restoration efforts throughout the state.

Four days after Hurricane Laura severely damaged Louisiana’s power infrastructure, statewide power outages are down to about 150,000, as of 11 a.m. Previously, Entergy said Laura knocked out power for 280,000 customers, so power has been restored for 130,000.
