La. Crop Production Report Nov. 10, 2020

Louisiana corn for grain production is forecast at 90.2 million bushels, unchanged from the October 1 forecast but up slightly from 2019. Based on conditions as of November 1, yield is expected to average 184 bushels per acre, unchanged from last month but up 19 bushels from last year. Producers expect to harvest 490,000 acres of corn for grain, down 55,000 acres from 2019.
