Flood Water Remains after Hurricane Delta in Evangeline Parish

Some parts of Acadiana are now seeing backwater flooding in the aftermath of Hurricane Delta.
According to the National Weather Service, Bayou Cocodrie in Evangeline Parish has reached a major flood stage.
Some of that water spilling into the Lone Pine community in the parish. Tuesday morning, most of the water receded. However, there were still some flooded streets.
