Louisiana Field Reports: Soybean Harvest Moving Ahead In Southern Parishes
“Finally ,several days of dry weather were strung together and producers took full advantage. Sugarcane planting and rice harvest continued back at full force. Cattle and hay producers began making second hay cutting, a few third. Calves were being weaned and sold. Early soybean harvest began. Forecast calling for more dry weather should help producers continue to catch up following past month of wet weather.”
