Louisiana Rice Harvest Moving Quickly

Louisiana rice farmers are making short work of the 2019 rice harvest, according to the latest Louisiana Crop Progress and Condition Report released Monday. The report shows rice harvest now 21 percent complete, just slightly behind the 26 percent five-year average pace. Louisiana corn harvest now stands at 7 percent done.
