Louisiana Farmers Eligible for Non-Profit Community Awards
Over one thousand farmers across the country will be awarded $2500 to donate to a non-profit organization in their community under the Americas Farmers Grow Communities Program from Bayer.
For over ten years, Bayer has awarded some $33-million to non-profits across the country with a lot of those dollars—some $400,000—going to non-profits in Louisiana. For example: Central High School in Catahoula Parish…Briarfield Academy in East Carroll Parish…the Madison 4-H Foundation in Madison Parish…the Morehouse Black Farmers and Landowners Association in Morehouse Parish and the Care and Share Ministries in Richland Parish.
To register, farmers should go on line to AmericasFarmers.com. The deadline to enter is November 1st.
Winners will be randomly selected after the November 1st deadline.
