Merryville Man Arrested for Arson

BATON ROUGE – Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry (LDAF) investigators say 47-year-old Gerald W. Neely of Merryville, La. is accused of intentionally setting a wooded area on fire in Beauregard Parish. Neely was arrested for one count of simple arson July 16, 2019. The LDAF received a complaint on July 12, 2019, of several woods fires near Division St. in Merryville, La.
