Louisiana Soybean Harvest and Sugarcane Planting Both Getting Started

Both soybean harvest and sugarcane planting started last week, according to the latest weekly Louisiana Crop Progress and Condition Report released Monday. The report shows soybean harvest now one percent complete, with sugarcane planting eight percent done. Corn harvest now stands at 13 percent complete, and rice harvest is 38 percent finished.
