Pesticide Certification Training Class July 31st in Lake Charles
By Jimmy Meaux, LSU AgCenter
For those individuals needing to take the private pesticide test, this training session will help prepare you for the test.
The training class will be held on Wednesday, July 31 from 9 a.m.-12 noon at the Calcasieu AgCenter office, 7101 Gulf Highway, Lake Charles.
This training is for applicators needing to test to become a private pesticide applicator. At this training we will do review of the National Pesticide Applicator Certification Core Manual. The training will take approximately 3 hours. Each person that pays a registration fee will be provided a study manual and a study guide.
This will just be a review session. We will NOT be testing at this location. Testing can only be done at LDAF district office in Crowley or at the main office in Baton Rouge.
Cost for the training class is $45 (check or money order only!) payable to LSU AgCenter. The fee includes the review session, study manual and a study guide.
Please RSVP by July 29 so we can get a head count on manuals needed. If you have any questions, or to register, please contact Kim Brown at kbrown@agcenter.lsu.edu or Bryan Gueltig at bgueltig@agcenter.lsu.edu, or call the extension office at 225-578-6998.
