Louisiana Rice and Grain Stocks - June 1 Rough Rice Stocks Up 62 Percent

Louisiana rough rice stocks in all positions on June 1, 2019, totaled 4.94 million hundredweight (cwt), up 62 percent from June 1, 2018. Stocks held on farms totaled 620,000 cwt, up 182 percent from last year. Off farm stocks totaled 4.32 million cwt, up 53 percent from last year.
