Crop Acreage Mix Expected to Change in 2019

ALEXANDRIA — Projections indicate that corn and cotton acreage will increase this year but less grain sorghum and soybeans will be grown, an LSU AgCenter economist said at an AgCenter crops and cattle forum in central Louisiana. Kurt Guidry said ending stocks for corn are smaller this year.
