Weed Science Students Win Presentation Competition

NEW ORLEANS — LSU doctoral weed science student Sam Rustom won first place for his presentation at the Weed Science Society of America conference, which was held in New Orleans on Feb. 9 to 14. Rustom’s winning talk in the oral presentation category was “Florpyrauxifen-benzyl Activity on Common Aquatic Weeds in Louisiana Rice.” Rustom is from Greenwood, Mississippi.
