Strain Response to Poultry Ban Lifted in China
BATON ROUGE – Today, the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced China’s decision to lift its ban on poultry imports from the United States, said Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry Commissioner Mike Strain, D.V.M. “Not only is this great news for America, but this is welcome news for Louisiana. The lifting of the ban opens the market for Louisiana producers as well as the rest of the country,” said Strain.
