Louisiana Weekly Broiler Report

Louisiana hatcheries set 3.86 million broiler-type eggs during the week ending October 26, 2019, up 1 percent from the comparable week in 2018 but down slightly from the previous week. Louisiana broiler-type chicks placed for meat production were 2.80 million during the week ending October 26, 2019, down 2 percent from the comparable week in 2018 and down 17 percent from the previous week.
