Louisiana Cotton Harvest Winding Down; Cane Harvest Gets Muddier

The 2019 Louisiana cotton harvest is now winding down, according to the latest Louisiana Crop Progress and Condition Report released Monday. The reports shows cotton harvest now 88 percent complete. Wet conditions continue to make for a muddy sugarcane harvest. Cane harvest is now 30 percent done.
