Louisiana Field Reports: Harvest Nearing End

“Recent rains slowed land preparation for spring planting and also made sugarcane harvest more difficult with wet field conditions. Crawfish ponds going to flood benefiting from rain events, assisting with flooding. Winter pastures begin to emerge from rains. Some hay producers could get some additional fields cut but the long range forecasts are not favorable with rain expected.”
