Louisiana Weekly Broiler Report - October 16, 2019

Louisiana hatcheries set 3.68 million broiler-type eggs during the week ending October 12, 2019, up 1 percent from the comparable week in 2018 and up 12 percent from the previous week. Louisiana broiler-type chicks placed for meat production were 3.08 million during the week ending October 12, 2019, up 9 percent from the comparable week in 2018 but down 4 percent from the previous week.
