BATON ROUGE - Katie Sistrunk is a fourth-generation sugarcane farmer who says watching Washington is as critical to farming these days as watching the skies. "It's no longer just about planting a crop and paying attention to the weather," said Sistrunk, of Iberville Parish. "The only way our needs are going to get met is if we voice our needs."
