Mill Restart Looks to Louisiana for Pine

Vicksburg Forest Products began production of southern yellow pine lumber at its recently converted mill and hopes to increase production to about 100 million board feet per year, according to reports. According to a press release, the company will purchase plantation and natural pine logs from the region, including from Central Louisiana.
