Why My Family Visited Acadiana Farms in Hot July

My family and I visited four farms in July. Yes, July, when it's ungodly hot in Louisiana. I have such good ideas. Just ask my family. At least it wasn't August. But we braved the heat each week to spend an hour or two walking around someone else's vast property, feeding their animals and learning about a different way of life.
