Jack Dillard: Book Provides Good Advice on Thinning Timber

In talks with our timber consultant (if you have timber, you need such a person), we earlier determined to do a second thinning on our timber that is just over 100 acres and is all planted. The spacing is what was suggested when we planted, which is a little closer than you would plant today, yet we did our first thinning about six or seven years ago.
