Emergency Quarantine for Roseau Cane Scale

BATON ROUGE - Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry Commissioner Mike Strain, D.V.M., has signed an emergency quarantine for Roseau cane scale. The scale, native to China and Japan, is an insect that destroys Roseau cane which is vegetation that helps protect Louisiana’s coast.
