2018 ‘Decent Year’ for Area Farmers

Farmers in Catahoula, Concordia and Tensas parishes had a “decent year” in 2018 despite low prices at the market. LSU AgCenter Extension Agent Dennis Burns, presently compiling his annual yield report, said Tuesday that this year’s harvest was complete with the exception of some cotton acreage.
