Louisiana Field Reports: Wrapping Up Ratoon Rice – Quality Concerns

“Not too much rain fall during last week but producers still need a few more dry days to finish ratoon rice crop. Second crop rice did not perform well throughout the parish. Cattle producers tried to hold off feeding hay for a few more weeks because of projected short supply for upcoming winter. They are feeding supplements instead.”
